Two years after the publication of a report, the main part of which analyzed in detail the University of Lorraine’s expenses between 2012 and 2018 for publication fees (APC) in open access journals requesting a financial contribution from authors, a summary note identifies 5 important trends that emerge when reading APC expenses in 2019 and 2020.
