The French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI) and the Open Science Committee have recently published the list of winners of the second call for projects of the National Open Science Fund (FNSO), which aims to support initiatives in the field of scientific publishing, open publication and their ecosystem. The four projects involving the University of Lorraine have been selected.

After a presentation of the structuring project led by the Editions de l’UL and the project of transition to open access of the journal Questions de Communication, let’s focus on the Perepiga project, which aims to explore and experiment a new funding mechanism for open access journals.
