The first Open Science European Conference (OSEC) is a major international event organized under the French Presidency of the European Union with the support of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, the Academy of Sciences, the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), the National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM), the High Council for the Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (Hcéres), the University of Nantes and the University of Lorraine.
This conference will take place on February 4 and 5, 2022 at the Academy of Sciences in Paris. They will also be broadcasted simultaneously online.
Among the themes addressed, the subjects of the transformation and opening up of the research and innovation ecosystem in Europe will be central. In particular, the themes of transparency in health research, the necessary transformations in the methods of evaluating research, the future of scientific publishing and the opening up of codes and software produced in a scientific context will be discussed.
