In 2018 and 2019, the University of Lorraine made the decision not to renew two subscriptions to scientific journal bundles due to the considerable price increase observed for many years. Through a survey conducted jointly by two departments of the Documentation Direction and with the support of the operational committee on open publications of the institution, we sought to know to what extent these decisions have had an impact on research work and how researchers view this policy of firmness towards publishing houses.
