You are currently viewing Incorporating open science into your ANR project: a practical guide

Since 2019, ANR has made commitments to open science for the projects it funds. These commitments are part of the French national strategy for Open Science, initiated with the National Plan for Open Science in 2018. Project leaders can anticipate these commitments as early as the set-up phase of their project, when writing their detailed proposal. This allows them to improve the feasibility of their project by identifying support services and the necessary means to implement an ambitious open science strategy. Anticipating these aspects can also facilitate collaborations within teams and consortia so that open science is an opportunity rather than a constraint. This guide is intended to be a practical tool to help researchers take into account the challenges of open science in each section of their detailed proposal. The University of Lorraine has contributed to the writing of this guide.
